Road crossing upgrade during the Southern ARTC super shutdown

Inland Civil and Rail completed a road crossing upgrade during the ARTC 3-day southern Super Possession across NSW. The project was completed on time to a high standard with zero incidents.

The Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) runs a yearly maintenance program between Moss Vale and Albury and from Cootamundra to Parkes to ensure the line is safe and reliable. This project involved around 500 workers undertaking maintenance and enhancement works on the railway line between Albury and Sydney as part of the NSW-wide project. Workers performed track reconditioning and resurfacing, rail replacement, rail bridge repairs and testing, vegetation management, signal maintenance and level crossing upgrades.
